Creativity and New Media
For this assignment, I decided to use new media in order to create art. I dusted off my trusty Microsoft Paint software and drew my favorite Pokemon character growing up. Every stroke of my virtual paint brush was meaningful and elaborate. Behold:
New media is a great way to create art. I am glad we were able to grow up with software like Microsoft Paint and Adobe Photoshop that allows us to create art digitally. I also love Pikachu, so I find your artwork very admirable. It looks great considering it was probably drawn with a mouse.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what people can do with simple software such as Microsoft Paint; even though it's packaged with Windows, there are people who can make top quality work from Paint alone. When Youtube first started becoming popular, I remember people animating with Paint ... which is insane because of how limited the program is. Your post reminds me of simpler times where computers where glorified typewriters with Solitaire and Paint. You've already drawn better than I ever could.
